Tiffany Black qualified with a First class BSc (Hons) degree from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. She also practices Integrated Acupuncture – a combination of Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and is passionate about using these ancient disciplines, to help patients with modern day afflictions from stress and anxiety, gynaecological disorders to chronic disease including long covid. Her focus is to establish the root cause of disease to enable the body to gently rebalance and repair.
She has completed additional specialist training in the treatment of female and male infertility, endometriosis and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Tiffany has also completed additional training with renowned paediatric acupuncturist Rebecca Avern, in treating teenagers with acupuncture including conditions such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harm, headaches and menstrual irregularities.
Prior to becoming an acupuncturist Tiffany gained a BA (Hons) in Modern History from Trinity College, Dublin and went on to spend the next eight years in corporate responsibility and social marketing working in London, Honduras, Glasgow, and Bristol. Having always had a long-standing interest in complementary therapies, and looking for a change from the corporate world, Tiffany initially trained as a holistic massage therapist and practiced part-time alongside her main career. After personally experiencing the transformative effect of acupuncture, however, she discovered where her true interest lay and decided to pursue a career in Chinese Medicine.
Tiffany is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, whose aim is to ensure all patients receive the highest standard of professional care.
